WORK WITH PARENTS AND TEACHERS ON PRIMARY-SCHOOL PUPILS’ SELF-CONCEPT TRAINING
Abstract
The article is devoted to work with parents and teachers on the training of the self-concept of primary-school pupils. The results of the diagnostic section, which covered 93 parents and 14 primary school teachers of general educational institutions, are presented. It was investigated by the author’s questionnaires how well parents and teachers are oriented in such conceptions as “self-concept” and “self-assessment”, as well as whether parents and teachers pay special attention to the training of self-concept, how they do it and what difficulties they face. It was determined that the work with parents and teachers should be comprehensive and aimed at preparing primary school teachers and parents to create favorable conditions for the training of self-concept of primary-school pupils. Based on the results of the diagnosis, the directions of work with parents and teachers in the framework of self-concept training of primary-school pupils are characterized.
